Show Hope sponsors are a vital part of our work. Because of their support, barriers are being broken down between waiting children and loving families.
You can’t do everything, but you can do something. If all you have to give is a little, that little can do a lot!
It only takes $35 a month to help make a lasting impact in the lives of children around the world.
Here are three specific ways Show Hope’s sponsors are changing lives:
Medical Care
Sponsors help fund Show Hope’s Care Centers in China. These Care Centers provide life-giving medical care to orphans with acute medical and special needs. Over the years, more than 2,300 children have received care at the six Care Centers Show Hope provides funding for. Because of the excellent care they’ve received, many of these children are able to come into the love of a family through adoption.
This level of care, and the possibility for more children to enter into families, is made possible in part because of Show Hope sponsors. To everyone who has decided to play their part in this way: Thank you!
Adoption Aid Grants
Due in large part to the monthly support of our sponsors, every year Show Hope is able to award Adoption Aid grants that help children enter loving families. To date, more than 5,000 children have come home to a family with the help of an Adoption Aid grant!
Because the cost of adoption can often exceed $25,000, the financial resources needed can be a huge barrier between waiting children and loving families. Sponsors are making an impact by helping break down this financial barrier between children and families.
Prayer
By joining us in prayer each month, our sponsors are making a huge impact in the lives of the children and families we serve. Every month, Show Hope sponsors have the opportunity to pray for a specific child under our care in China. Sponsors do this through the monthly prayer focus on the Show Hope blog.
Along with the monthly Care Center prayer focus, sponsors also stand with us in prayer throughout the year as we invite them to join us in praying for and celebrating the children and families who have been impacted by our Adoption Aid grants.
So, what part do you have to play in caring for orphans? You may not be called to adopt, and that’s okay! You are invited by God to do something on behalf of those waiting for a family.
Whatever that something is, it can help change lives.
